Talk

The core promise of modern software development has always been clear: ship customer value continuously, with increasing speed, quality, and confidence. But despite decades of progress through Agile, DevOps, and Shift Left, that promise remains incomplete. Friction persists. Handoffs remain. Value validation often comes too late.

AI Shift Left marks a fundamental turning point. AI is not simply accelerating existing work; it is reshaping how software is conceived, created, and refined. By compressing the distance between intent, execution, and feedback, it changes the operating logic of software development itself. This makes AI more than a productivity gain: it enables continuous value delivery at scale.

The talk explores what this shift requires in practice: a new execution model, a different engineering posture, and technical foundations built for AI-native delivery.

Raffle

All participants will be entered into a raffle to win a copy of the technical books “PyTorch - KI-Modelle trainieren, tunen und einsetzen” by Bert Gollnick, “Python 3 - Das umfassende Handbuch” by Johannes Ernesti and Peter Kaiser, and “Eigene KI-Anwendungen programmieren” by Metin Karatas. All three books are published by Rheinwerk Verlag. The publisher is supporting our event as a prize sponsor.
